Cougar attacks in the U.S.A.

Although a world away from Kent and the United Kingdom, the link below proves that attacks from large cats such as the puma (mountain lion, cougar) do occur in the United States and Canada and are fatal. Although not wishing to unnerve the British public those ramblers, dog walkers, etc, etc, must be made aware that such animal roaming the countryside MUST NOT BE PROVOKED, CORNERED OR INJURED.
Fortunately, in the UK attacks have been very rare, and those which have taken place have long been debated as to to their authenticity.
